The following seven charities have been selected as Novis plans for a surge of charitable efforts in 2012:

  • Make a Wish Foundation - Walk for Wishes - Feb 18th @ Tropical Park
  • Jacob Rappoport Foundation - Walk for a Cure - April 1st @ South County Regional Park
  • Florida Hemophilia Association- Walk in the Jungle - April 28th @ Jungle Island
  • American Cancer Society - Relay for Life - May 19 & 20 @ AD Barnes Park
  • His House Orphanage Food Drive - November
  • Miami Children's Hospital Foundation Toy Drive - December
     
JANUARY 2012
Charitable events throughout the month of January raised more than $3000.00 to be dispersed to the charities listed above.

DECEMBER 2011
Novis employees collect toys for the Miami Children's Hospital.

NOVEMBER 2011 Novis employees collect food, toiletries, clothing and other necessity items for His House. "His House Children's Home" just celebrated over 20 years of service. It is a private, non-profit, organization dedicated to restoring joy in the lives of children in ages ranging from newborn to18 years old. It was established in 1989 by Jean Caceres-Gonzalez, the agency provides residential care for abused, neglected and drug exposed children in a campus home-like setting.  Currently they have over 100 children on campus (13 houses) and are in great need of items. Listed below are some of the children's favorites but a little bit of anything will surely go a long way for them.

$1,335.00 raised by employees and their individual donors + $1,000.00 donation from Novis
$ 2,335.00 total donation

The Florida Hemophilia Association (formerly the Florida Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation) exists to promote opportunities for improving the quality of life for persons with hemophilia or other bleeding disorders. The ultimate aim is a cure.
