THOMAS E. BURKE III
CEO & President

Tom brings over 30 years of distribution experience to Novis Pharmaceuticals, with extensive functional expertise in sales, sales management, operations and the management and development of people. As the Group Vice-President of Cardinal Health, Integrated Provider Solutions, Tom had Northeast responsibility for five businesses: Distribution, Laboratory, Manufactured Products, Pyxis Supply and Presource which generated $1.4 billion in revenue. He also held several executive level positions in other Cardinal Health companies, including serving as President of the Southeast and the Northeast Regions of Cardinal Health, Medical Products and Services, each with revenue in excess of $1.3 billion and consisting of seven distribution facilities. In addition, Tom was responsible for a two-facility region that represented $3.1 billion in pharmaceutical sales for Cardinal Distribution/Aurora, Illinois Division when he held the position of Regional Vice President.

 

JOSEPH A. ZIEGLER
Chief Financial Officer

Joe Ziegler brings over 15 years experience in finance and distribution to Novis Pharmaceuticals. Specializing in forecasting and analysis when identifying risks and opportunities for Novis, Joe has been instrumental in identifying cost reduction programs, implementing reports to improve business unit decision-making capabilities and the overall creation of financial business models. Joe has worked for growth oriented companies to include Jarden, Global Tower Partners,  Value Rent-A-Car and Miami Subs. Joe earned a bachelor's degree with honors in Finance and continued on to obtain a master of business administration from Florida Atlantic University. 

 

JOHN W. KILGOUR
Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing

John has more than 35 years of progressive business and management experience in the pharmaceutical and medical/surgical supply chain distribution markets. Prior to joining Novis, John spent more than 30 years with Cardinal Health, most recently as Vice President of Sales in Cardinal’s Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Program. Over the course of his career, John has established and managed relationships with prominent Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), leading Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), and major managed care organizations.

 

SCOTT WISE
Vice President of Sales & Purchasing

Scott is the Vice President of inside sales and purchasing for Novis.  He has 10 years experience in the blood plasma industry and 20 years experience in sales management and purchasing.

 

CHRISTOPHER DALY
Vice President of Inventory Control

Chris brings over 30 years experience to Novis Pharmaceuticals, with extensive expertise in Inventory Management and Control.  Prior to joining Novis, he spent 21 years with Cardinal Health and 9 years with JW Daly.  Chris has a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Vermont.

 

JORGE RODRIGUEZ
Vice President of Operations/Compliance Officer

Jorge Rodriguez is responsible for overseeing operations as well as for monitoring compliance. He has more than 24 years of experience in operations management, with expertise in the fields of distribution, logistics and manufacturing. In 2005, Jorge was certified by the Florida Department of Health as a designated representative and works closely with all regulatory bodies to ensure Novis Pharmaceuticals' compliance with state and federal regulations as they relate to the wholesale distribution of pharmaceuticals.

 

ALFREDO RAVINET V
Director of Information Technology

Alfredo Ravinet has over 20 years experience in information technology. He began his career by providing 13 years of service to the United States Air Force (both active and reserve). He specialized in various information systems, particularly as they relate to logistics and materials management. Alfredo knows how information processes can impact the “mission” of an organization. He has designed and implemented voice, security, and data infrastructures for 13 companies, including 25 offices spanning the United States and Puerto Rico.

 

BARBARA VAZQUEZ-PEREZ
Human Resources Manager

 

Barbara brings over 12 years of experience in the human resources field.  She manages all aspects of the department including but not limited to: to policies & practices, staffing, employee relations, retirement benefits and health and wellness programs.In her many years of employment in the human resource field, she has worked with such other organizations as Steiner Management Services, Cordis, a Johnson & Johnson Company, Bausch & Lomb, Sunglass Hut International and ADP Total Services.  Barbara’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in psychology as well as a master of science degree in industrial and organizational psychology.  She also obtained a human resource certificate from Florida International University and served as adjunct professor at Carlos Albizu University in industrial & organizational psychology studies. Her memberships include the Greater Miami Society for Human Resources and the Society for Human Resource Management.
